In 1984 I began my study of the earth and the natural changes which effect its life -- the movements of its giant plates which trigger earthquakes and volcanic activity, the motion of the winds which cause our hurricanes and tornadoes. In my earliest research into the causes of earthquakes, I found that eclipses were always related to Mars and the Geodetic angles of the earthquake charts - both these factors were making hard aspects to an eclipse at the earthquake site. Consequently both factors could be used to predict the location of earthquakes.

So my next step was to explore the use of Astro*Carto*Graphy maps of eclipses to locate earthquake activity around the world. An astrocartography map of the world represents a 24-hour period, with the angular positions of planets projected onto it in the form of lines. Planets at the MC and IC appear as straight vertical lines. Planets at the Ascendant or Descendant are curved lines. As an example, a Pluto (AS-DS) line stretches up and down across the earth map. Pluto at the MC appears as a vertical line in one part of the world.

Using 500 eclipses and 110 earthquakes, I found that Pluto was angular in 84 per cent of the eclipse charts at the earthquake location; Mars was angular in 64 per cent, and Uranus was angular in 47%. Predictions could be made by tracing the angular lines of these three planets across the eclipse map. Often an event would occur between two lines or where two lines crossed.

The millennium (between January 1, 2000 and January 1, 2001) offered a special opportunity to study events as they related to this important period. Because a solar eclipse is effective for at least six months before and after it occurs, I began with the solar eclipse of February 16, 1999, and ended with the solar eclipse of June 21, 2001. This meant there would be seven solar eclipses to represent the millennium period -- February 16, 1999; August 11, 1999; February 5, 2000; July 1, 2000; July 31, 2000; December 25, 2000; and June 21, 2001. All of the events are listed under the heading of each eclipse which is related to a world map of that eclipse. In addition to earthquakes, volcanoes¸ tornadoes, floods, and an occasional meteoroid explosion, violent events originated by human beings have been added. These include the overthrow of governments and a variety of exploding human psyches resulting in multiple deaths in schools, churches and offices, and elsewhere.

All eclipses, except July 1 and December 25, 2000, occur in the Fixed signs -- the most difficult signs in the zodiac because attitudes, ideas and emotions are locked in here. Stress is allowed to build up. In the Earth, stress is released suddenly as an earthquake or volcanic explosion. In human beings, stress is often released in violent action. In either case - Earth or human -- this violence is heightened by the transits of Mars, and Uranus triggering the eclipse degrees. The February 5, 2000 eclipse at 16 Aquarius is especially active because transiting Uranus conjoins the degree of the eclipse. Here are the eclipses for the millennium period:

  19. World-Galactic Events: Beginning February 7 (just two days after the eclipse) hackers launched an attack on the Internet that slowed the entire net by 20%. Among the Web sites interrupted for up to 2 hours were Amazon.com, eBay, Yahoo, Buy.com, CNN.com, E+Trade, and ZDnet.com. The hackers used Remotely controlled "zombie computers" to call in to a Web site and block regular customers. This was accomplished by previously inserting a zombie program into thousands of computers without the operators' knowledge.

On February 14, 2000 (a week after the eclipse) physicists at CERN Laboratory for Particle Physics in Switzerland announced they had found compelling evidence for the existence of a new state of matter quark-gluon plasma - in which quarks, instead of being bound up into more complex particles such as protons and neutrons, are liberated to roam freely. Some 500 scientists from 20 countries participated.

On February 14, 2000, the United States' Near Earth Asteroid Rendezvous (NEAR) spacecraft fired its thrusters at 16:33 UT and became the first spacecraft to go into orbit around an asteroid - in this case, Eros. Washington, DC: On April 24, 2000, the National Zoo turned into a scene of horror when a gun fight between two gangs near the entrance to the zoo resulted in the critical injury of one boy and injury of five other children between 11 and 16 years of age.

The Uranus (AS)-Eclipse lines are just west of Georgia, and the Pluto (MC) line runs down the East Coast, through Philadelphia and very close to Washington.

Tsunami Danger: On May 2, 2000, scientists announced the discovery of cracks along the edge of the Mid-Atlantic continental shelf between the lower Chesapeake Bay and South Carolina. These cracks, about 80 miles offshore, indicate the sea floor could slump or slide downhill creating tsunamis up to 20 feet high.

Concord, NC: One hundred people were injured, 13 critically, on May 20, 2000 at 11:15 p.m. when a section of a concrete pedestrian walkway spanning a four-lane highway collapsed. People were crossing the walkway to the parking lot after the finish of a the Winston NASCAR race. Georgia-North Carolina As many as 500,000 were without power for several days when a snow and ice storm struck Atlanta, Georgia on January 23. Two days later an unpredicted blizzard marched up the east coast from South Carolina to New England, As much as 18 inches of snow buried Raleigh. On February 14, 2000, at least 4 tornadoes left a 10-mile path of destruction across southwestern Georgia, killing at least 22 people and injuring 100. The worst damage occurred near Camilla. Homestead, FL: On March 22, 2000, four Florida counties were declared agricultural disaster areas because an incurable citrus canker is ravaging the groves that once provided nearly all of the country's limes. So far lime growers in southern Florida have lost more than half of their crops. Lake Worth, FL: At 3:30 p.m.on May 26, 2000, a student, 13, sent home for throwing water balloons, returned to Lake Worth Middle School with a gun and killed his language arts teacher. North Carolina, Georgia and Florida are halfway between the two lines. South Africa-Mozambique: In mid-February, 2000, these two countries experienced the worst flooding in 50 years. Thousands died and up to a million were homeless. An additional 90,000 were homeless in Botswana. Mars (MC) and Pluto (DS) are close to all three countries. Zimbabwe: President Robert Mugabe announced plans to invoke special powers to seize white- owned farms and distribute the property to landless blacks. Armed black squatters have seized more than 1,000 white-owned farms since February. Thirteen people have died. Pluto is on the Descendant with Mars on the MC. Sierra Leone: Pro-government forces and United Nations peacekeepers rushed to bolster Freetown's defenses on May 10, 2000, as rebel forces were reported only 18 miles from the capital. The rebels were holding 500 UN peacekeepers hostage. British paratroops were sent to Freetown to evaculated Britsh, European and Commonwealth nationals. Uranus-Eclipse(MC) lines run close to Sierra Leone. World/Galactic Events: On February 7, 2000 (just two days after the eclipse) hackers launched an attack on the Internet that slowed the entire net by 20%.

In January 2000, Pennsylvania State University astronomers announced the detection of a faint X-ray emission from a supermassive black hole which marks the center of the Milky Way galaxy. The discovery was made possible thanks to the Chandra X-ray Observatory at Socorro, New Mexico.

On March 7, 2000, an international team of researchers reported they had successfully mapped dark matter over a 2-square-degree patch of sky. This was accomplished with special processing software which analyzed how light from the galaxies was distorted by gravitational fields of dark matter; then produced a chart showing that dark matter exists as ribbons spread among the galaxies.

Missing Mass Found. On May 4, 2000, scientists announced they have found an elusive component of the universe's missing mass - "dark matter" in the form of giant clouds of hydrogen in inter- galactic space. For the past decade astronomers have been looking for these vast quantities of hydrogen cooked up in the Big Band which accountfor nearly half of the "normal" matter in the universe. The rest is locked up in myriad galaxies.

A massive iceberg 183 miles long and 22 miles wide broke from the Ross ice shelf in the Antarctic on March 20, 2000 - perhaps heralding a rise in ocean levels. The winter of 1999-2000 was the warmest on record in the United States. The new iceberg contains an amount of freshwater equal to the average annual rainfall on the entire land surface of Earth.

These seven events occurred under the February 5, 2000 solar eclipse in 16 Aquarius conjunct Uranus, which can be said to rule the Internet and new scientific discoveries.
