MAPPING THE PLANETS ACROSS THE USA
SUMMER 2011

SUMMER SEASON SOLARMAP - EXTRAORDINARY WEATHER CONTINUES

The forecast follows after a brief explanation of how the map is used. One of the models that is used in long range weather forecasting is a map of the USA with the planet energies represented by colored lines taken from the seasonal ingress chart. Both astronomy and astrology considerations are employed. The colored lines on the map represent the same planet and the degree found on the ingress chart but are found only on one of the 4 angle positions around the world. In other words, Mars, the red line at the Midheaven, the 10th house cusp is located in the USA and 110 west longitude only, and no where else in the world. Mars on the ingress chart on the IC, the 4th house cusp is only at western India and 63 degrees east longitude. The solarmap has a wealth of information to offer as the lines will indicate the fundamental weather indications for the season. Solar Map Analysis: To the trained eye, general weather indications are easily seen by the placement of planet lines. The more planet lines in the area, the more weather influences which will produce a more accurate forecast.

SOLARMAPS FORECAST Starting at the west in the Pacific, note the blue line of Jupiter at the MC. Jupiter nature is towards war temps, pleasant breezes and gusts of wind up to gale force. It is mostly an indicator of balmy weather and dry conditions except when is a water or wet zodiac sign. Jupiter in Taurus will bring in clouds and a marine influence for the west coast. Since most of the weather fronts travel from west to east, it is a helpful planet indicator. The winds will be activated for the season yet many of the ingress charts for CA, OR and WA are less stormy for the season. Detailed weekly summaries provide more of a forecast; consider becoming a long range weather forecaster. A simplified study is available here: http://www.weathersage.com/courses.pdf

In Mexico, note the crossing of the next red line, Mars. A strong indicator of an intense hurricane season which I confirmed at the Atlantic Chapter NCGR Hurricanes 2011 workshop May 21, 2011. Ken Paone, one of our foremost astrometeorologists in the group, wrote an article for Dell Magazine, the August issue, on the 2011 Hurricane Season. A Neptune influence adds to a seasonal forecast bringing in ideas of mist, fogs, weird weather conditions, all the way to flooding. Along 110 west longitude from MT, UT, CO and AZ and Mexico, the red line of Mars is found on the 10th cusp. Mars is hot and dry, action oriented and extreme. Mars will associate with Mercury (wind) during the season therefore disturbing the atmosphere into windy conditions. The wind will be welcomed as Mars can be very hot in the region. For example, Arizona will be above average hot but with wet storms that come up from the Mexico storms and hurricanes.

Next is the purple line of the Moon, the most wet indicator and produces variable weather systems. The wet weather comes through ND, SD,NE, KS and TX and at times drifts to states on either side of the line. Venus, a green line, is the second most wet indicator of weather. So very close to the Moon indicates a wet season from MN down through tornado alley and Texas, LA. The combination of Venus and the Moon in a relationship is flooding and humidity. From this map, the Gulf of MX will produce an abundance of moisture. The Sun, blue line, runs on the MC along the eastern third of the country. Hot and dry conditions exacerbated by more planetary influences will make it very uncomfortable. Alerts for local brush fires should be heeded. Clean up the brush before it takes more than you want. There are many weather influences in New England and the Northeast. The orange line of Uranus, the black line of Pluto could produce a less than appetizing summertime. Pluto emphasizes extremes of weather and the rest of the chart confirms that it will be a cooler than average summer. The northeast will be involved in a hurricane or brushed with one or two. The weekly summaries for New England will tell the tale in more detail. The two planet lines that are out to sea for the USA but on top of Puerto Rico are notable for violent winds - the tempest! Saturn (brown) and Mercury (purple) are extraordinary winds when combined. We should have more than one storm brewing at times. I think the wind indications will combine with weather systems that form off the coast of Africa and in the Caribbean and wreak havoc in no uncertain terms.
