SUMMER SEASON SOLARMAP - EXTRAORDINARY SUMMER WEATHER

One of the models that is used in long range weather forecasting is the map of the USA. The map has a wealth of information to offer. All the viewable colored lines on the map represent a weather energy that will be prominent for the area the line crosses during the season. However, the influence of the weather is modified by the rest of the actual chart for the location. Understanding the concept of this information along with chart information and the declination measurement insures a more accurate weather forecast.

The faster moving planets in our solar system, plus the Moon dictate the weather, and each planet has a core nature that has been observed for thousands of years. The position of the colored planet lines that you see on the map are taken from the chart (horoscope) based on the moment the Sun enters the sign of Cancer. The position of the Sun is now at the Tropic of Cancer and each day through September 21, 2010 the Sun will continue to move in a southerly direction, more vividly viewed on the transiting declination graph. Where you find a line or a cluster of lines indicates a specific kind of weather that will influence a location in a major way. Let's explore the lines.

Solar Map Analysis

Starting at the left side of the map, the green line Venus is in the Pacific. Venus represents moisture in the form of rain or a strong marine influence for the whole of the coastline. Remember, the weather in the northern hemisphere comes in from the west.

Further inland, the next line is purple and represents Mercury on the horizon. Mercury is in charge of the winds. For example, Mercury will be very strong for windy events in Seattle, WA. The Sun line (blue) is influential bringing in high temperature events and disturbing the atmosphere when the winds of Mercury arrive. High temperature will also stream across the plains sates down through Texas and the Gulf of Mexico.

The next line, aqua color, is the planet Neptune which brings moisture, in some form to this part of the country and will make headline news. This part of the country does have its rainy season in the summertime and Neptune insures that there will be stronger moisture available that could lead to flooding. Where you can see the Sun and Neptune lines crossing in the northern plains is sure to increase the humidity.

The bright red line is the next one to explore. In summertime, the planet Mars in the IC position (4th house cusp - a powerful house for weather forecasting) is not a welcome influence for where it lies. Mars is hot and dry. Note that the Mars line crosses with the Sun line right in the middle of the country. This doubly hot and dry influence is the major force for heat for hundreds of miles in the radius. Record setting heat, fires, dust storms are in store -not a pleasant forecast at all, despite the possibility of an overall cooler summer. The black line of Pluto indicates that there will be violence and death resulting because Pluto represents not weather but intensity. Pluto flowing through the Gulf could incite violence re: the oil spill and cleanup. Pluto destroys - but the new growth does come back.

Moving on to the eastern part of the US, the obvious 3 planet lines present an influence of weather that holds a promise of desperate measures. The brown line of Saturn from Florida during hurricane season up through the great lakes regions is foreboding. Florida doesn't need Saturn in its face during hurricane season but will have to deal with the main ingredients of hurricane soup. Wind, water and low pressure. Having the two remaining lines of Jupiter and Uranus (new and record setting influences) add to the misery of Saturn presents an unusual weather season for Florida and beyond. This particular combination of planets presents contradictory influences. Jupiter and Uranus could be more wind shear at higher altitudes. Further north, in Ohio and the lakes region, record setting thunderstorms and hail should result. The difference in the two areas is to understand climate differences. Florida is hurricane climate and further north would be record setting heat resulting in severe thunderstorms that could become historical and definitely newsworthy.

The northeast will receive some of the weather events in summer but moisture is prominent as is the brilliant heat. The initial indications are for more severe thunderstorms. The details for the northeast are found within the local forecast for where I am located - New England. Carolyn Egan June 2010 copyright
