MAPPING THE PLANETS

FALL SEASON 2006

FALL SEASON SOLARMAP March 20 - June 21, 2006

The map graphic information is derived from the seasonal ingress chart created for the official first day of FALL and affords us the view of where the same planets in the ingress chart are plotted across a map of the region. Each planet line represents a type weather at that location which may dominate the weather for the season. Planets are associated with temperature, moisture and wind indications and certain combinations of planets describe weather events at their locations. This is a useful backup tool in developing a weather report for the three month season, as the indications for this map are determinations that are strong for the season's weather. Normal climate conditions prevail and astrometeorology can identify weather systems that will alter the weather. Ken Ring, Astrometeorologist of New Zealand and Australia, produces a yearly Almanac that can be purchased at his website, http://www.predictweather.com

The first observable planet to the left is Saturn (brown line) over the western coast of Australia. The indications that dry weather could be more acute in the initial forecast, however, the next lines, Venus (green line) and Neptune (aqua line) are strong indications that more moisture either in clouds or actual rain are possible during the season in the interior western Australia, usually very dry areas.

The Northern Territory shows lines crossing with Jupiter (blue line) and Neptune (aqua line) that in most places would indicate quite a bit of precipitation and possible flooding. However, since the territory looks dry for the fall season on average, rainfall could be just higher than average without flooding.

In NSW, the Moon (blue line) prevails which normally inclines toward fluctuating temperatures with greater amounts of precipitation. However, there is much to say about the lack of rainfall then leading to a season with times of very dry conditions, then to too much rain. In New Zealand, the average dry conditions may prevail but there will be days of exceptional warmth and humidity. The planet lines are Pluto (black) which usually indicates an extreme of weather and the Sun line (blue) rather strong for hot temperatures during the season. The humidity levels are indicated by the wet Moon which is found in the major weather house of the seasonal chart (not seen here). I will be interested in the results of my observations as this is the first report I am compiling for our friends in the southern hemisphere. My climate base is derived from this website http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/map/anual_rainfall/index.shtml
