About WeatherSage

WeatherSage is a site dedicated to expanding and popularizing the study of Long-Range Weather Forecasting, also known as Astrometeorology. Here you will find the information and tools to further your interest in the subject.

The study of weather began long ago and much that was written by the old Sages is not readily available in todays marketplace. WeatherSage offers information from the past up to the present time and intends to add more in order to preserve what information is known about weather prediction.

Long-Range Forecasting is successful. There is no question about it. It is not well known to the general public, but the more astute business people and corporations do not rely on the U.S. Weather Service to provide any weather forecasts beyond a few days at most. During the 20th century, the U.S. Weather Service has squashed any kind of acknowledgement that Long-Range Forecasting works as documented in books by Victor Boesen.

Visiting Sages will offer seasonal local, national and global long-range weather reports. Other Sages offer their view of Eclipses, Earthquakes and Homespun Sagebytes. Visitors will find astrology used in some forecasts, yet, let it be known that Long-Range Forecasts are also available without the use of astrology. Solar spots were once a mystery until John Nelson, an engineer and President of RCA, found that solar spots were more intense with certain planetary alignments.

The promotion and expansion of Astrometeorology continues with a self-study course and an e-mail list. Long-Range Forecasting does indeed have a future - its usefulness will continue to spread as more and more individuals take up the study and promotion of the subject.

Biography and Background - Carolyn Egan

What began as a search into the future to find the next hurricane the little state of Rhode Island would experience, Carolyn Egan began a journey to travel the globe with students from Rhode Island, to Moscow, to Australia and back. Since 1994, Carolyn has expanded her work to include a wide range of topics, from teaching the only on-line course on astrometeorology, for several years and now a self-study course, to creating a mailing list where like-minded people around the globe have gathered to discuss long-range weather forecasting.

Carolyn has focused on developing long-range weather forecasting since 1994 and is dedicated to fostering and intensifying the study and practice of the subject to as many who hold an interest. She is published in magazines and has brought her weather workshop to several groups on the east coast of the USA.

It is her intention to bring awareness and exposure to the general public through the website. The contributors to WeatherSage will help to provide a weather resource unlike anything else on the internet.
